Delicious authentic Mexican food. I had the Campechanos 3 tacos with rice and beans. Go

First off, the prices were quite high for the quality of food you were getting. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they were $11.00. The cheese inside of the enchiladas was hard and not melted. It had an inadequate amount of red sauce on them, and they tasted as if they were sitting out for a long time before being served to me. As an appetizer, we ordered some cheese dip, and it was $7.00 for a big bowl that was only 1/4 the way full. This was just melted cheese; no peppers, tomatoes, spinach or anything. The salsa wasn't awful, but it was really watery and not chunky tomatoes or anything. Our overall total for four people was $60+ dollars. This was outrageous for food that did not meet any expectations.

By far the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in Rapid City. Each of about 6 entrees I've had here has been spectacular and the service has been great each time. Support this place so it stays in business!

Had lunch here a few days ago and it was awesome. Most authentic Mexican food in Rapid City by a mile. I was even able to get my favorite meal: a Michelada and a big bowl of Pozole. Highly, highly recommend!

Seriously so yummy! I had the lunch special 2 which was two enchiladas, of my choice. So I chose the shredded beef enchiladas, and holy cow were they good!!!!! Best Hispanic food that I have had in the Black Hills hands down. My father had the carne asada tacos, and enjoyed as well!

Super salsa. Just enough spicy. Had chile verde. I prefer a shredded pork in verde and the meat was a little dry but the sauce was very good. Rice was fresh and the beans were fine. Very large plate of food. Most dinner about $12.

Tried this place based on the recommendation of a friend of a friend. Closer to authentic Mexican food than most options in RC. Fish tacos are amazing and the salsa is scrumptious. Check it out, it's scrumdiddlyumptious!

Awesome food! Best Mexican food around. Portion is a good size and price is descent. Nice ambiance but nothing fancy. It's more like a whole in the wall place but good food! Unlimited chips and salsa, by the way the salsa is chunky and slightly spicy which is what it should be. I've been to another local Mexican restaurant and they don't offer free unlimited salsa and when I ordered guacamole, it did not come with chips, they said I have to pay extra for chips with the guacamole! I thought that was ridiculous! So I'm glad I found this place!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
